John Ozila - released three albums in the period from 1977 to 1979, as well as several singles. His afro-disco pearl "Funky Boogie" remains one of the best in the disco style. Before he released the album Boogie Salsa in 1979, which contains "Funky Boogie", he released the amazing album Africa Goes Disco in 1978 (in Germany the album was released in 1979 under the name Harlem Reggae) in which the tracks are recorded in Afro and Latin styles. The album Africa Goes Disco became a hit in a number of African countries in 1978 and sold well in France. Africa Goes Disco is one of those rare albums on which every track is classic. In addition, thanks to the excellent vocals, instrumental mix of guitar, keyboards, bass, saxophone, trumpet, percussion and sound effects, this masterpiece will appeal to lovers of African pop, as well as to those who like to dance to melodic music, and lovers of Latin American rhythms will not remain indifferent.
