A legendary, invincible guitarist and the sonic mastermind of the Rolling Stones. No other guitarist has defined the sound and image of rock & roll quite like Keith Richards. As a co-founder of the Rolling Stones, he fused the frameworks of rock and blues in a new and vital way, and he conjured a rhythm-as-lead style that birthed some of rock's most indelible riffs, including "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash." In the 1970s, he helped steer the Stones into a sharper, more rootsy sound that reflected his love of reggae and country music as well as blues and rock on albums like 1978's Some Girls and 1981's Tattoo You.
