Kari Bremnes (born 9 December 1956) is a Norwegian singer & songwriter. She got an M.A. in language, literature, history & theatre studies from the University of Oslo, & worked as a journalist for several years before deciding to dedicate herself to music full-time. Here she performs 11 jazz selections (in English) to get you into a Norwegian Mood.
North facing, European, open, personal & melancholic – all are words that can be linked with Kari’s music. The huge dynamic range in the concerts is a signature for the Kari Bremnes band.
