This Original Album Classics release contains three of Bobby Womack's late-'70s albums. Home Is Where the Heart Is (1976) and Pieces (1978) were originally released on Columbia, while Roads of Life (1979) was Womack's lone recording for the Arista label. These weren't among his most successful albums -- there isn't a major single on any of them, and they were quickly overshadowed by the 1981 album The Poet -- but they're certainly not without merit. The discs are in standard jewel cases that are slipped inside a plain but functional cardboard sleeve.
