The Jangsan Tiger, who mimics human voices to lure them close, encounters a family affected by the creature. A woman whose son is missing takes in a young girl she finds near Mt. Jang – a mysterious mountain where there appears to have existed a mythical creature which mimics the voices of humans. The plot is inspired by the South Korean urban legend of the Jangsan Tiger, a man-eating creature that roams around Jangsan, a mountain in the city of Busan. It is rumored to have sharp teeth and white fur and moves swiftly through mountains and lures people by making a sound that resembles a woman's wail.
