This is an album of original compositions and arrangements by Tetsuro Kawashima, one of Japan's leading tenor saxophone players. Including "Suite Emotion," the album consists of 9 pieces, 1 hour of string quartet + woodwind ensemble + percussion. He has also teamed up with SAYAKA KATSUKI's Chaka String Quartet for the first time to create a magnificent inner ensemble with overdubbed flutes, clarinets, and bass clarinets. The group looks at the fundamentals of improvisation as a performer. This is the culmination of a varied life's work that includes solo, duo, quartet, and live works.
