This box, published by the Verve/Universal labels, includes 4 studio jazz-rock albums of the famous group Return to Forever created by Chick Corea (albums from the second to the fifth, respectively), as well as the solo album of the maestro himself, My Spanish Heart (it was a double on vinyl).
The album Light as a Feather in 1972 became the jazz album of the year according to Playboy magazine, and was subsequently repeatedly recognized by various magazines and polls as one of the most outstanding jazz albums of all time. The album No Mystery led to a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Performance by a Group.
My Spanish Heart is Chick's tenth solo album, recorded with the help of Stanley Clarke (bass), Jean-Luc Ponty (violin), Steve Gadd (drums) and wife Corea Gail Moran (vocals). "Armando's Rhumba" is now generally considered a jazz standard.
