Commemorating the 65th birthday of the world-famous countertenor René Jacobs, this box contains the best performances of DHM, SEON, and SONY as a vocalist.
His beautiful voice and vocalization are unique, seamlessly connecting his falsetto with his chest voice, making no distinction between high and low tones. In addition, his deep and gallant voice can be said to be the singer who most thoroughly enjoys his unique and persuasive view of the world.
Rene Jacobs is a Belgian countertenor singer and conductor born in 1946. He began his musical career as a boy choir singer at Ghent Cathedral. He studied classical linguistics in Brussels and The Hague, and was recommended as a countertenor by Leonhardt, the Kuijken brothers, and Alfred Deller. I have also participated in In the 1970s he organized his own ensemble, the Concerto Vocale, and began working as a conductor. In recent years he has written symphonies and operas by Monteverdi, Haydn and Mozart. He has also conducted the Concerto Köln, the Berlin Academy of Early Music, and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, all of which have received high acclaim.
