After three highly successful studio recordings, 1985 saw the Keith Jarrett Trio become a full-fledgeg working unit, exploring the standard repertoire in a fresh and personal manner. Their summer tour in Europe was enthusiastically received by both large audience and critics alike.
Recorded in July 1985, Standards Live documents the trio´s Paris concert at the Palais de Congrès. It includes readings and interpretations of such noted standards as „Stella By Starlight“, Alec Wilder´s „The Wrong Blues“ and the Rodgers and Hart classic „Falling In Love With Love“, among others.
